To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, some of the women of Davies Maguire went for brunch to connect outside the office and reflect on how far the industry has come.

Despite under 16% of the engineering workforce in the UK being female, we’re proud that women make up almost half of our team.

Conversations around the table ranged from how the pandemic has shifted work-life balance, to our goals for the future – both professionally and personally.

Being a woman in engineering means challenging expectations, supporting each other, and building things that last – literally and figuratively.
