Davies Maguire’s Seamus Maguire and George Fletcher had a great evening at the New Civil Engineer + National Highways Low-carbon Bridge Design Competition awards presentations!

Our shortlisted scheme, EcoSpan, designed in partnership with Stephen James Architect and Miebach, combined traditional materials with emerging technological innovations, resulting in an innovative timber and pre-stressed stone solution that is sensitive to the landscape, site, materials and end users. The design was one of five finalists out of over 60 entries, with the judges commenting that, “The presentation clearly demonstrated good in-depth experience and a clearly thought-out solution.”
