Graduate and Summer Placement Recruitment 2024

25
Oct '23

We are looking for graduates with a Civil or Structural Engineering MEng degree with a keen interest in structures and the built environment around us. Graduates should have sound technical skills, be passionate about their work, and provide creative thinking at all stages of the design. Communication skills are key, and we look for graduates who are willing to become an integrated member of our team.

The role of a graduate in our team will see you develop your technical skills from day one, through taking responsibility of the structural design of a project from inception to completion. You will need to collaborate with all members of the team, both internal and external, to ensure our solutions are fully coordinated with the architecture and M+E engineering. You will also be responsible for producing drawings, specifications, and reports at each stage of the technical design. Our graduates are often out of the office, attending site visits and site meetings, allowing you to fully understand every stage of the project.

We expect our graduate engineers to actively seek accreditation with either the ICE or IStructE and we provide a certified Training Scheme with both. Our mentor system ensures you have the support and guidance you need throughout your Training Scheme, and our welcoming, open-plan office promotes knowledge share from senior members of our diverse team. We make sure all graduates gain experience through a variety of projects, allowing you the best opportunities to develop as an aspiring engineer.
