2026 Summer Placements
We are looking for Civil and Structural Engineering Masters undergraduates in their second or third year to join our office in the summer of 2026. We are looking for candidates with talent and commitment; applicants should have sound technical skills, be passionate about their work and provide creative thinking.
We will focus on developing your technical skills from day one, through getting you involved with detailed design on a range of real projects, from private houses to large-scale developments. Placements have the opportunity to work with staff at all levels, from graduate engineer to director, and collaborate with all members of the team, both internal and external. You will also be responsible for the production of drawings, specifications and reports, and where possible we arrange for attendance at site visits and meetings, allowing you to understand and experience every stage of the project. Placement students will have the opportunity to learn industry-standard analysis software such as Tedds, Tekla, and ETABS.
[The office] is a really collaborative environment. It just feels like one really big team working together. I was surprised by how much real work I was able to do, contributing to projects and designing elements that will actually be used in a real project.
